Let’s talk about identity. And Bill Hicks. Show notes and more are over at OneFlawedMortal.com
It’s Friday night. It’s about ten o’clock. I’m sitting in my kitchen steeping some green tea and trying to ignore my cat because this is as exciting as my life gets.
In today’s episode I am talking about identity, self-talk, and the late great Bill Hicks.
Bill Hicks was a standup comedian who sadly passed away in 1994. And I really resonated with him and his message. He had this weird combination of Libertarian and Woo that I found (and still do find) to be quite comforting and relatable.
I talk about Bill Hicks quite a bit in this episode, and below you’ll find the performance I was referencing.
Time Stamps:
3:53: Bill Hicks was a genius
10:03: You live up to your identity.
21:50: Stop being a victim.
